What does hemp mean to you?

Perhaps it's the positive light it shines on our world's environmental issues and how hemp reduces our carbon footprint that gives promise to our uncertain future. Maybe it's the textiles and building materials it can produce from hemp fibers such as paper, insulation, and cloth.

Possibly the jobs it has created in this fast-growing industry . Or nutritional food hemp supplies such as non-dairy, gluten-free milk or high protein hemp seed. And medicinal products that have shown to benefit those suffering from an array of illnesses. Whatever hemp is to you, it’s important to all of us.

Research drives education and change. We, at the Industrial Hemp Research Foundation (IHRF), commit ourselves to support not only top-quality research at universities across America but bridging the gap between hemp pilot programs and private funding.

But we cannot do this without you.

The time is now to grow and protect our future for generations to come. We ask you to join us in our efforts to grow the body of knowledge that will be the driving force of this emerging industry.

For us. For you. For them. Because hemp can.

With your donation you will be supporting new research, development on new and existing hemp uses, and spreading education about the value and benefits this misunderstood crop can bring to economies, environments and communities throughout the United States.

"Hemp is cleaner and cheaper to produce than coal, oil or other resources. It could solve many of the nation’s future energy needs."
